The first Novorossiysk region cement factory was built under the name of Black Sea Cement Society in 1882, following the Decree of the Emperor Alexander III. Not only Russian, but also the foreign consumers were immediately attracted by high-quality construction cement made from raw materials of unique composition.
JSC Verhnebakansky Cement Plant is a bleeding edge high-tech production site, capable of processing up to 7 thousand tons of raw material daily.
The site utilises a two-step grinding system, consisting of a hammer crusher and the largest roller mill in Russia, ATOX.
Cement industry forefront solutions coupled with JSC VCP engineers expertise allow to push the pyro section output to 395 tph.
Two UMS ball mills of 320 tph each are employed in order to handle this flow of clinker.
The result is impressive 2.3 million tons of cement per year, which amounts to almost 5% of total Russian cement production.
The plant’s marl quarry is unique in terms of its quality properties, which allow to produce high-quality cement at no extra costs. High-precision SODERN bulk material analyzers are installed in material handling lines to forward data to an automatic RoboLAB laboratory for analysis and online raw mix correction. This is how the perfect raw meal is born, which is fully ready to be kilned. End product fineness is controlled precisely by a Sepax separator.
